Johanna Taylor married Joseph Tumlinson on April 2, 1834 in Gonzales, Texas. Johanna's brother William P. Taylor had married Joe's sister, Elizabeth Tumlinson, in 1830. Joe Tumlinson would align with the Sutton party against the Taylor's in the years to come in the Taylor-Sutton Feud. Johanna died in the late 1830s, just barely out of her teenage years.
