Jack was born to Homer Mentz and Emma Mohar on January 2, 1932. He moved to Central Florida from Beckley, West Virginia in 1958. He married Pauline in March 1960. Jack proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was owner/operator of Jack's Radiator in Mount Dora, FL up until his retirement in 2004.
